Privacy
Placeholder. Sneaks is not yet a public release, and this page will be replaced with a full privacy policy before it is. Until then, this is a plain statement of what the app does today.
On your device
Your collection, the shoes you have added and their details, is stored on your iPhone. The app does not back it up or sync it to a server.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. The server identifies your account by the identifier Apple provides for you, and keeps the session that keeps you signed in. Sneaks does not ask for a password.
Sneaker lookups
When you scan a barcode or search, the app sends the lookup to the Sneaks server, which forwards it to a third-party sneaker data provider and returns the result. Your device never contacts that provider directly.
Tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
